The only way to explore the Norfolk Broads is by boat and there are over 120 miles of navigable water totally lock free. The Broads offer all-round family enjoyment.
You can unwind as you take in the unspoilt countryside, waterside pubs, restaurants, nature trails and conservation centres. There is abundant wildlife to discover and between June and March coarse fishing is permitted.
Whatever the season the Norfolk Broads is a photographer’s dream. The spring with the new life, summer with all the colour and bustle, into the warm tones of autumn and finally winter where everything lies still.
Moorings are available throughout the waterways in sleepy villages or in busy centres such as Great Yarmouth or Norwich, both of which have different attractions. Great Yarmouth has all the fun of the fair, golden beaches and traditional pier shows. Norwich has a fine cathedral, interesting architecture and museums, shopping in modern stores or along cobbled arcades.
